Formats a data-label value.

Description

Delegates to format_tick_value() for TickFormat semantics when decimals is auto; PieChart (which has no TickFormat concept of its own) can still call this with TickFormat::Raw or TickFormat::Percent.

Parameters

Name Description
decimals Fixed decimal places (capped at 15), or -1 for automatic precision.
format How y-axis tick values are formatted as label strings.
